Cushnie Et Ochs is for sure one of the coolest up in coming designers and this season was another fab show for them! The collection was very sharp and minimalist due to the fab signature cut outs of the design duo but this season the sharp cut outs were not the only main feature of the collection this season they played with draping and a more relaxed summer looks! They delivered very clean sharp and fresh pallet made up of White, Blue, and black with a few dark purple outfits! The show opened with a white wash of looks all very minimlist and relexed showing cool midriffs and slits in the skirts for fab movement also there were some very cool bikinis with a cool cushnie cut out! Then there were the aqua blue dresses more tailored constructed and minimalist! Two satin purple dresses were also in the collection which were darker tones and maybe better for evening plus they would look major fashion forward! Finally a series of black looks featuring sheer and draped looks along with the strong construction and cool cut outs! Overall I think it was cool minimalist perfect for spring/summer and as always had that fashion forward edge!
Really cant believe im actually saying that it is just a day and several hours until a month of fashion kicks of in new york! Even though its just a day to wait I cant help butting seeing as many previews as i can be it mood boards or simple designer sketches. it always feels like ripping a little hole and taking a little peek at your much anticipated christmas gift! Its all part of the pre fashion season buzz! I have a few previews that I discovered collectively from a few sites that will get your pre fashion week fever sky rocketing!
Cushie et ochs showed sexy second skin dresses inspired by the film "the skin i live in" The dresses were very sleek and modern there were accents of silver metallic ad a simple palette of black,blue,white,nude which made for a minimalist image. Cushie et Ochs are infamous for super fab cut outs and this season they were inspired by plastic surgery some were arches above the breast others were more reckless and a torn bandage affect.There were great simple black gowns that are great for any event there was an unraveling detail in some dress with zippers could imply breaking free or leting it out it looked super sexy. Cushie et Ochs showed a simple and clean collection with an exciting inspiration. i really loved this collection!!!!
